We finally made it to the 100th day of school! We had a fun filled day with many math activities. We started our day off with morning meeting and adding our 100th straw. The class was so excited to create a bundle of 100! We then enjoyed sharing our 100th day projects. It was interesting to see the different ways the children represented the number 100. We continued our day by doing 100 exercises! The children thought it would take all day, but when we broke it up into 10 repetitions of 10 different exercises it only took us 20 minutes! We had fun on a scavenger hunt for 100 numbers before lunch. In the afternoon we created a yummy snack mix with 100 pieces of food. The children made groups of 10 with each type of snack then added them to a bag counting by 10s. We ended our 100th day by writing 100 words as a class. Be sure to check out our list of words hung up outside of the classroom. Below are some pictures from our 100th day fun. Enjoy!
